Dr. Amadou Alpha Sall is the first African Managing Director of the Institut Pasteur de Dakar.
An expert on hemorrhagic diseases, including Ebola, he is a member of several WHO expert groups.
Author of more than 100 articles and book chapters and more than 150 scientific communications, his research focuses on the diagnosis, ecology and evolution of arboviruses and viral hemorrhagic fevers.
Dr. Amadou Alpha Sall was awarded the Grand Prix du Président de la République pour les Sciences (Senegal) in 2011.
