MD, Specialist in tropical medicine and graduate of the Institut d’Études Politiques de Paris. He has extensive experience in pharmacy and public health.
Dr Denis Broun was in charge of the pharmaceutical sector at the World Bank, before embarking on a career at the United Nations, first as Director of Health at UNICEF, then as Head of Tropical Diseases Control at WHO, Director for India and then for Eastern Europe and Central Asia at UNAIDS, and finally as Executive Director of UNITAID until 2014.
He is currently Head of Public Health at Strides Pharma Sciences, Director of Healthcare Strategy at Dure Technologies, Director of the French-speaking sector at Empower Swiss, Director of Givopax and a member of several boards of directors of companies active in the healthcare field.
